What are port activities?

Port activities are shore excursions and in-port experiences available at each port of call on your cruise. Each cruise line (Disney, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Silversea) offers its own port excursions, and you can also browse third-party tours from Viator for more options.

Can I book shore excursions that are not through my cruise line?

Yes. Alongside each cruise line's official port excursions, you can browse trusted third-party tours for each destination via the Viator tab. These are often available at a lower price or with different options. Compare both in one place and pick what fits your budget and interests.

How do I find activities for a specific port?

Select your cruise line's tab to see ports from that line's sailings, then use the port filter to narrow down to a specific destination. You can also use the Viator tab with its region and destination filters to find third-party tours for any port.

Do I need to book port activities in advance?

Popular excursions can sell out, especially in busy seasons, so booking ahead is recommended. Saving activities here lets you plan your ports before you sail and add them to your day-by-day itinerary.

What are private destinations?

Private destinations are cruise-line-exclusive ports — like Royal Caribbean's Perfect Day at CocoCay and Labadee, or Disney's Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. Activities at these private islands are typically booked onboard or through the cruise line's app, not through third parties.

Are port activities included in my cruise fare?

Most shore excursions and port activities are an additional cost on top of your cruise fare. Private-destination beach access is often included, but premium add-ons (waterparks, cabanas) cost extra. Silversea's all-inclusive fares may include select excursions. Pricing is shown for each activity so you can budget ahead.
